How is the running meeting cost calculated?

The tool converts each attendee's pay into a per-second rate (hourly rate divided by 3,600), multiplies it by the attendee count, and multiplies that by the seconds elapsed since you pressed Start. Annual salaries are converted to hourly by dividing by 2,080, the standard number of work hours in a year.

Does this tool save or share my salary information?

No salary or cost data is ever sent anywhere. The only thing saved is your last attendee count and rate, stored locally in your browser so the fields are pre-filled next time; you can clear it anytime by clearing your browser storage.
