    Yes, it's completely free with no signup, and no upload happens. Every image is drawn onto a canvas element inside your browser tab and the watermarked result is generated locally.

    Can I watermark more than one photo at once?

    Yes. Add two or more images and the download button automatically switches to producing a single .zip file containing every watermarked image, generated with the open-source JSZip library running in your browser.

    Why does the tool always export as PNG instead of JPEG?

    PNG is used because it supports semi-transparent watermarks properly; JPEG has no real alpha channel, so a translucent text or logo watermark would not render correctly if exported as JPEG.
